Tutorial: Create a test reservation

In this tutorial, you'll learn to create a test reservation for your test property.

What is a test reservation?

A test reservation is a simulated booking that you can create for your test property in our system. It is not a real reservation, but it has most of the same information that real reservations have. You can also modify or cancel them according to your testing purpose. This then allows you to check various functions of the system without having to make a real reservation.

Who is this for?

You should read this if you're any of the following:

  • a developer who works for a company that wants to become a certified Booking.com Connectivity Partner;
  • a developer who works for an existing Connectivity Partner, but is new to the Booking.com Connectivity APIs;
  • a developer who wants to estimate the time needed to implement the API.
